Some people say we should deny the PAP the two-third majority in parliament, some say we allow them 50.1% of seats.

Come voting day, nobody knows who everyone else is voting for. We only have a choice - for or against the PAP. We cannot say we give the Opp 60% of our vote and reserve 40% for the PAP.

The PAP, ignoring all our complaints, is adamant that they will continue to flood Singapore with foreigners. It is do or die for the ordinary Singaporeans.

This is true - the question each of us (and our family members) has to answer is simply, which side are we on?

Some Singaporeans are just looking to make the PAP scapegoats for their own follies.

If you don't have enough to retire, that's because you didn't save enough, didn't invest enough, didn't buy enough insurance.

If you can't keep your job, that's because you've not been upgrading your skills, not been staying relevant, not been ahead of competition in the job market. Don't blame the PAP or the foreigners.

If you can't afford even public housing, that's because you do not make or save enough. It's because your fellow-countrymen have been profiting from the resale-market. It's because you have been "how-lian" and been willing to pay above the real value of the flats.

The PAP is the pillar, the foundation of Singapore. See how the old ladies still make their way to support our leaders at their rallies. This is when gratitude meets foresight.

Come 7 May, I believe most Singaporeans will vote wisely, voting for the PAP. For the minority of whiners, moaners - don't worry. You'' lag, but not be left behind. We'll be keeping the system intact, and you'll benefit from our pity and sympathies.

sorry but i find your reasoning for the state of people's lives simplistic and uninformed. if i get cancer, does it mean i didn't look after myself? if a child is stillborn or born autistic, does that mean the mother did something wrong?

your reasoning also does not explain how a sporean who's been hugely successful overseas, who's won a bunch of scholarships, is being made out to be some kind of suspicious character with ulterior motives because he chose to stand under an opposition ticket rather than for the PAP.

btw, all those little old ladies who go to PAP rallies are given dinner and an allowance and are bus-ed there. i have letters, complete with chops, letterheads etc, to prove this. you can even check out the signatories to these letters.

by the way this is all arranged by our so-called non-political grassroots agency - the People's Association.

residents over 65 who are staying in marine parade have suddenly just been given $30 of vouchers for FairPrice.

for a start, u may want to look up the word "bribery" in the dictionary.

    cheers
